CUHP Teaching Posts – Eligibility Criteria
Professor
- Educational Qualification:
A Master’s degree in Hindi / History / Political Science / Public Administration / Education / Economics / Gandhian Studies with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) and a PG Diploma or equivalent in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Studies / Philosophy / Thoughts.
Candidates must also have cleared the NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline focused on Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s philosophy or contribution.
Associate Professor
- Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in the concerned or allied discipline.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH).
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- A minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals with a total research score of 75 points as per UGC guidelines.
Assistant Professor
- Educational Qualification:
- 3/4-year Bachelor’s Degree or 3-year Diploma in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
- Master’s degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management with First Class or equivalent grade.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in 4-star (or higher) category hotels or teaching experience in a recognized institution.
- As per UGC Amendment Regulations 2021, a Ph.D. degree is not mandatory for Assistant Professor posts.
